Ashley Pyon founded Kinward at the intersection of her legal career and her own experience growing her family through gestational surrogacy. Having navigated the process as an intended parent, she brings a firsthand understanding of the decisions, relationships, and human considerations that can accompany the legal work.
Before founding Kinward, Ashley's legal career spanned corporate private practice and senior in-house roles. She practiced at Paul Hastings and Ropes & Gray before serving as legal counsel at a multifamily office and a single-family office, experience that shaped her careful and practical approach to drafting, negotiation, and complex legal matters.
